I received Hamtaro: Ham-Hams Unite! For Christmas this year, and started playing it thinking,
Its probably not going to be very challenging or anything but I love Hamtaro and I am going to try it.
Boy! Was I wrong! I only just beat the game! Not only is it very cute, and I mean very cute, but fun to play! I made this section because I know that some people, including me, dont believe it can be a good game to play on you Gameboy Color or Gameboy Advance!
Point of the Game
The game starts with Boss saying that he has a huge secret and needs to get all the Ham-Hams to the clubhouse to show them. The only problem is that Boss has to make sure that his secret is unknown until he can show everyone and can't leave it unattended. As luck would have is, Hamtaro *you* walks by at that moment. Boss grabs you and asks you if you can get the Ham-Hams together so everyone is there for the suprise. Eger to find out what Boss is hiding, you say yes and go out into the world to find the Hams!
What Next?
After Boss tells you to get all the Hams, he says, "Remember your Ham Chat! You'll need it to get around"
"Heke?"
*Gasp-p* You don't know Ham Chat!"
And so Boss gives you a notebook to fill in with Ham Chat words that you learn from Hams along the way. Boss gives you a few easy ones so you can get around for the first time,
*you know like Yep-p, No-p, Hamha..*
and you learn more by talking to Hams.
*Like Hammo, Hamspar, and Sparklie...*
After Finding the Hams
After finding the Ham-Hams, you can visit and talk to them in their rooms in the Cubhouse. Its fun when you talk to Bijou, Maxwell, Howdy and all of the other Hams! You also can find out the secret Boss was talking about! I would post it here, but Im sure some people dont want me to spoil the surprise!
Finding the Hams!
Bijou- To get Bijou, all you have to do is follow her through Acorn Shrine. Be sure to talk to everyone you meet and either climb the trees, or Tack-Q them. Once Bijou is hiding behind a tree, Tack-Q that and spiders will fall down. Bijou will shriek and start crying, say Oopsie to her and she will forgive you. After getting up however, she will notice she lost her rock, Dig-Dig into that hole neer the tree and you will find the rock. Give it to her and she will gladly follow you back to the clubhouse.
Maxwell- Maxwell is pretty easy to find, but it took me a long time to figure out how to get him. Take a minute to explore Acorn Shrine until you see a Hamster jumping on top of the building. Tack-Q The front of the building, *the first part you see* and a rope should fall down. Climb up the rope and talk to the Ham on top, do what he says and he should teach you a new word. Get off the building and continue into a dark caveish area, Tack-Q the cracks in the wall *it should take about 2 or 3 times* until you see a Hamster shadow. That shadow is Maxwell. Now this is the part that stumped me, just say Ham-Ha to the shadow and Maxwell will try to say hi back, and end up falling down. He is very emabrassed with himself and will go with you only when you say the new word you learned and fall in the mud.
Pashmina- To get Pashmina, you have to go to Sunflower Park. Walk around and talk to all the Hams you see on the way until you come upon a jungle gym. Go to one of the bars and say Scoochie. Keep trying all the bars until you see Pashmina. She should say Hamha but then her scarf will fly away. The only way you can get her to go up to the crow and say Gasp-P. He will laugh at you and drop the scarf turns out he is really not that bad! Tell him the word for friend is Hammo, *because it is kinda weird if he calls you his Go-P* And he will be your friend! Give the scarf to Pashmina and she comes back to the clubhouse.
